Our family is humbled and deeply touched by the love and care so many of you have shown us as we face the challenges and new experiences with mom’s cancer.

Right from the start, there has been a huge outpouring of prayer and support for which we are so thankful. It has however been a challenge, to stay in touch and keep everyone informed while trying to adapt to our “new normal”. Our hope is that through these pages we can stay better connected with you and you with us. There is a summary page for each of the previous months, and our goal is to start providing more frequent updates through posts moving forward.

We want you to know that we are above all, incredibly grateful for your prayers for our whole family and for your care and love for mom! Your prayers, care and love are both a source of strength and encouragement for all of us. Thank you for walking with us on this journey!

 

Something to note: I am sharing my own observations and descriptions of our family’s experiences. My goal is to share some background information to bring us all up to date and then provide regular updates. I aim to do this in a way that’s accurate, respectful and comfortable for mom and our family. I hope that this will give those of you who ask, or want to ask about mom, a place to check if you don’t see or hear from her, or us, in person.
